Correction	The d13C data of cellulose were corrected for the Suess effect (decline of the 13C/12C ratio of atmospheric CO2) using 13C values of atmospheric CO2 obtained from the South Pole ice core and the Mauna Loa Observatory, Hawaii (Francey at al. 1999) (http://www.cmdl.noaa.gov./info/ftpdata.html).
